Garry Sarre - Profile
I love black & white photography - it helps create a timeless feel that is both beautiful and natural. We use black and white, sepia and a sepia-colour combination. Women of course, want their pictures to be flattering and people that are close to them prefer natural appearing photographs. With black & white photography and careful make-up it is possible to have both. If you can look beautiful and still appear natural, it has to be the best possible result.
I am aware that it may have taken months or even years for our client to summon the courage to come in, that's why it is important for us to spend the time getting it right. We want to produce pictures she will one day look back on and be proud of - for her children to treasure and her husband or boyfriend to adore. Maybe he will appreciate her more as well."
Viewing Our Vision
Something Timeless & Beautiful
You put your trust and confidence in our hands; we appreciate that and protect it to ensure your experience of Sarre Photography is everything you could hope for.
A framer once described our work as 1930s photography, a fantastic compliment to us. Photography done in those days was renowned for its timelessness, elegance and glamour and the 1930s was known as the Golden Age of Photography. But all the glamour in the world is useless if it doesn't capture and reveal some of your personality, warmth and character.
At your viewing all of your photographs will be presented as a slide show on our Viewing Room wall. This is yet another part of your wonderful experience and you should allow yourself the indulgence of viewing for 1-2 hours. Your viewing of your photos is a special moment. We suggest you bring positive, supportive people with you to share it and embrace the beauty in your viewing.
"There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that
other people won't feel insecure about you- and as we let our own light shine,
we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same."
